It didn’t offend me at all. I find that question quite flattering. I didn’t know you were gay when you asked, so I asked you if it mattered whether I was gay or not. FTR, I am actually not gay. My LGBT friends call me an ‘honorary gay’. I am a gay rights advocate, big into the whole straight against hate thing, huge equality pusher. I’ve been to Pink Training (mental weekend, def recommend) and during my SHAG week when I worked in a college, I made a big point of allowing any student to be married (by Elvis) any other student in the ‘Chapel of Lurrve’ we set up on site.
